Bedford Jewelers was founded in 1954 by Arthur and Althea Bishop. The store is now owned and operated by their children: Barbara Bishop Sardzinski (recently retired) Shirley Bishop O'Connor and A. Gordon Bishop Jr.
Gordon Bishop is a Graduate Gemologist. He earned his Degree in residence from the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles. Gordon performs appraisals by appointment only.
